It would be the most diverse and impressive part of the game. They throw 2 or 3 people in like you suggest? I really gotta think cargo would be the strong point of the game. I gotta imagine SCS could do what he's done (probably in a better way) and diversify cargo ASAP with one person working on it. A guy did that for free in his spare time. I look at some of the third party mods for cargo, jazzy cats box trailer cargos. The coding is all done, it's just moving the boxes to the right parts of the field. One person needs to look at the delivery points and adjust the ones that need help. I figure there's enough things that could be coded as def files for box/tanker/gas trailers (that you don't see, just needs to be added to the cargo & delivery system) and flat deck/step deck/low boy trailers that already exist around the map (things we do see) that just needs to be added as deliverable into the cargo and delivery system. I truly think most of the work is just covering and cleaning up oversights! For the first year or so- one person could go thru and just add what's easy. Two or three people might be overkill, honestly. The trailer load and unload points have gotten better (not unloading randomly in the middle of a parking lot everywhere now) but I agree there needs to be a bit more polishing done there. Cargo should be similarly worked on kind of thought. The tuning packs are great when they come. They are covering new trucks and trailers decently. they need to cover the other side of it with cargos. So I only mention trucks, trailers, and tuning as they've got folks working in those areas, covering 'that side of the prong' if you will. I just don't see how someone could say no to more cargo. The number of people in the poll that said no.I'm honestly baffled but its their right to say so. I've said all along a small team of 2-3 can be kept busy pretty much infinitely. Let the vehicle team work trucks, trailers, AI vehicles and tuning packs. If SCS can appoint someone to look at cargo day in and day out, this weak point would be no more.

Make sure you keep truckers moving freight and plenty of it. A cargo team leader should be like a truck dispatcher, a broker. If people are going to pursue trucking as a career, things should be a little more polished now. The games are quite visible in the trucking work for both Europe and North America. The games are becoming more than what they intended to do and a lot more industry attention is at SCS's door steps. Trailer assignment and where trailes dock should be considered at this point now. It has gotten a lil better but still some kinks there. Pickup and delivering to depots need to be pretty organized and its not completely there yet. Someone spending time making sure it all makes since. Someone constantly looking at cargol as a full time job. They can be a division of the vehicle team but they need their on team lead. Trucks, trailers and tuning packs.that is the vehicle team to me.
